Plugin adds to NOP additional functionalities, which enables store owner to control in which conditions to activate in e-store bought gift cards automatically.
This feature is necessary if gift card code is created and activated in NOP and store owner wants to activate gift card automatically.
When managing gift cards in NOP, then for gift card code activation must store owner open gift card settings and activate gift card manually or create shipment and complete shipment, which also activates gift card. Both need from store owner extra steps. This plugin enables to activate codes automatically without additional actions needed.
NB! Use this plugin when you create and manage gift card codes in NOP.
Plugin allows store owner to apply automatic activation condition only for virtual gift cards and exclude physical gift cards, if this is necessary.
Store owner can also decide, for which payment methods is gift card automatic activation enabled.
For example, you can disable this functionality if customer selects in checkout Check / Money Order as payment method and enable gift card code automatic activation for other payment methods.
