Search Configure

Plugin enables to manage search configurations:

• Extend Full-Text Search Performance - to perform fill-text search for product, Lunr or Lifti search engine is used;

• Always Search Product Descriptions - check if you want that products are always searched by description and short description field values;

• Use Score To Sort Search Results - bigger score means higher rank in search results;

  • when is true, then on search results is used score to sort products;

  • when is false, then on search results is used nopCommerce standard logic.

• Score Multiplier For Main Properties - main properties: Name, Localized Names, SKU, GTIN, ManufacturerPartNumber, Tags, Localized Tags, Categories, Localized Categories, Manufacturers, Localized Manufacturers;

• Score Multiplier For Description Properties - description properties: Short Description, Full Description, Localized Descriptions

• Save Search History For Registered Customer - check to save search history for registered customer;

• Save Search History For Anonymous Customer - check to save search history for anonymous customer;

• Full-Text Search Engine Type - you can choose Lunr or Lifti;

• Full-Text Index Recreation Interval (in minutes) - add integer value (minutes);

• Append Left Side Wildcard To Query

• Append Right Side Wildcard To Query

• Append Whitespace Wildcard To Query

• Append Whitespace Vertical Bar To Query - adds "OR" logic to search query; if Lunr search engine is active, then "OR" logic is always used.

Plugin also enables to specify, which information is to be indexed.
